One of the important lessons to learn in life is to slow down and see the sunset. There are days when, as sunset nears and then commences, that I find myself rushing around trying to "get the perfect angle for taking a photo." The evening I took this photo, I found myself doing that very thing. I had to consciously tell myself to slow down, sit down, and let the setting sun bless the moment with its beauty. It allowed me to reflect on the wonder of the world and the blessings of relationships that surround me. That moment of peace and renewal is worth more than any photograph. Make the time to slow down and see the sunset.
