It is time to say some words of appreciation. Writing is a solitary activity; yet there is a social aspect to it. Few of us write with the intention of keeping our words to ourselves. We write to communicate with others. The words I write in my blogs and in my novels are meant to be shared with others - and hopefully they are words that elicit reflection and inspiration. I appreciate those who read and value what I have written, so I say "thank you" to you if you are one of those people!
I also want to say a public "thank you" to some special people who have helped as I have written my novels. They have read, given critiques, offered suggestions, and edited! Thank you: Jerry H., Rachel K., Molly P., and Kristine U. You have helped make my words speak the thoughts I wished for them to speak. Writing is a solitary activity and it is a collective social process. Thank you for sharing it with me.
