There are times we need to pull our eyes from the "big picture" and see the "little things" that surround us. When fear, hatred, and bitterness seem to cloud all we see - then we need to focus our vision on the love, gentleness, and compassion that touch our lives. Enjoy the acts of peace and kindness that you see others share. Be the voice of love and compassion in the lives of others. The "little things" can, and will, fill the big picture.

There is a way out of the tunnel of hatred and bigotry. We may try to beat our fists against the walls and boundaries of violence and hatred that surround us, but that will not defeat hatred. The way to stop the hatred is to step beyond it, and to step into the light. May love, respect, and compassion fill your life.
