A beautiful sign of spring. When the world around us seems full of suffering and evil, remember the hope and promise of the future that comes with the changing seasons.
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours! On this beautiful golden spring morning, these geese are looking for new nesting grounds. The frozen surface of the lake turns to open water and they look for a place to begin the year anew. Are you excited and open to be starting in a new place? What beginnings and new adventures do you anticipate for your life?
The migrating birds are returning. Unfortunately the lake is still frozen. Can't you just imagine them wondering, "What now?"
Sometimes life throws us a little curve and catches us unawares. We wonder what to do. These birds decided to take flight and move on. What will you do? This bridge looks out of place yet it is most certainly in a place where it is needed. What is more important - looks, or function? Have you ever felt that way about yourself?
"We must widen our circle of love until it embraces the whole village; the village in turn must take into its fold the district, the district the province, and so on 'til the scope of our love encompasses the whole world." Gandhi
