Our perspectives in life are framed by the specifics of our local environment. Do we see the big picture clearly, as we focus on that - and allow our immediate situation slip out of focus? Or do we lose sight of the big picture as we focus on the small details that surround us? What does your "lens" focus upon?
May you find a secluded space of calm and peace during the hectic and troubling times of the present.
While this looks to be a straight and narrow walkway, it is actually much more. The openings through the pillars on the sides invite you to look out and see the beauty around you. Should one choose to look only at the path, one will miss much beauty. Life is like this. You may know your path in life, but if you fail to look up and out you will miss much of the beauty that surrounds us.
Does your time of quiet and reflection open doors inward to a deeper understanding of yourself, or outward to a deeper understanding and appreciation for nature?
