Once upon a time,
Long ago, yet not so long ago, The word was made flesh, to live among us, Desperate - we had need of the voice of God incarnate, To live among us, to live within us, to guide our actions, This voice has all the colors of the rainbow, This voice has all the sounds of harmony, This voice is heard, yet often not understood, This voice calls us forth to: Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, To do it now, and in the days to come, Time and time again.
