In the far north, the daylight hours grow shorter and the temperatures turn colder. Many of the plants demonstrate this in their changing colors as the seasons of life are brought to fruition and harvest. We know the harshness of winter will be upon us all too soon. Soon the natural world around us will fall dormant. For today, relish the richness and bounty of this year.
