I went for a walk this morning and was graced by the arrival of this dragonfly. In many parts of the world, a dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realization. I know I am not alone as I struggle to deal with the death and pain caused by racism and hatred in our world. My heart goes out to those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. My soul screams out for our leaders stop the hateful rhetoric. If the leaders won’t lead us in loving each other and living peacefully with each other, then we must change those who claim to lead us. The dragonfly is a symbol of change. Let us make the change and live compassionately with each other.
